Sumdog’s Maths Week Scotland Contest is back!

Maths Week Scotland is a Government initiative to celebrate the importance of maths in our everyday lives and encourage a positive attitude towards maths for students, teachers and parents.

To get involved with Maths Week Scotland, join Sumdog’s Maths Week Contest to compete against classes from across the country and have the chance to win great prizes.

The contest is running from 27th September to 3rd October but you can get started now to familiarise your pupils with the games!

How to take part

  1. Sign up for a free account, or log in if you’re already registered. Simply click on the ‘Contests’ button and select the Maths Week Scotland Contest. Still not sure if you should take part? Watch our contest video to hear how other schools have benefited.
  2. Pupils start playing! All of the questions are tailored to each pupil’s individual level, giving everyone a fair chance of winning.
  3. The winning class will be the class with the most accurate scores over the week. You will receive a 6 month subscription to Sumdog’s premium features, including teacher tools and extra activities! Sumdog goodies will also be given to runner up classes.
